Man punched computer screen in fury.
A MAN lost his temper and punched a computer screen as his best friend chatted to his girlfriend.
Cameron McKay, of Holme Park Court in Berry Brow, pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
Kirklees magistrates heard that the incident happened at the flats on September 14.
An arrangement was made with police to offer McKay a caution on the condition that he paid to fix the damaged computer.
When the 22-year-old failed to do so he was prosecuted.
His solicitor Bob Carr said: "He (McKay) lost his temper and punched the screen of the computer that his friend was working on.
"Mr McKay went straight to the security office."
Magistrates ordered him to pay PS304.50 compensation to the local authority.
