Man killed in bypass crash.

A 45-YEAR-OLD man has died after a crash on a bypass in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The accident happened on Thursday night on the A4233 at Wattstown, Porth, and the man, from Bridgend, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after the incident, which involved two cars.

A South Wales Police spokeswoman said: "I can confirm that we were called around 10.52pm notifying us of a road traffic collision on the A4233 at Wattstown, Porth, involving two vehicles.

"A 45-year-old man from Bridgend died at the scene."

The man's family and the coroner have been informed.
