Man is stabbed in brawl.

Police have met a wall of silence after a mass brawl in Fartown left one man with stab wounds.

Other people were also hurt during the trouble which erupted in the Bradford Road area late on Friday night.

Cars were damaged and two people were believed to have been knocked down trying to flee attackers.

A police spokesman said: "About 80 people were thought to have been involved and weapons were seen.

"One man was stabbed in the back, but no-one was willing to speak to police.

"We have been met with a wall of silence.

"No-one suffered life-threatening injuries."
