Man and boy killed in crash.

POLICE have released the names of a man and a 12-year-old boy who died after an accident near Henley-in-Arden just before midnight on Friday.

The accident happened on the A3400 Birmingham Road.

Driver Richard Spiers, aged 46, of Glenwood Drive, Cheswick Green Solihull, was pronounced dead at the scene.

David Jefferson, aged 12, of Foxland Close, Cheswick Green, died later in Queens Hospital, Nottingham.

Also in the car were three other 12-year-old boys. Mr Spiers's son Luke is in South Warwickshire Hospital with serious head injuries. Thomas Sayce, of Maddams Hill Road, Shirley, and Martin Soeter, of Saxonwood Road, Cheswick Green, both suffered slight injuries and shock.
