Man accused of harassment; IN BRIEF.

A MAN who allegedly harassed his ex by showing up at her home has appeared in court.

James Tyndall, of no fixed address, was before Kirklees Magistrates' Court via a prison video link.

The alleged offence occurred at his former partner's home in Willwood Avenue, Oakes, between February 20 and March 27 this year. The 46-year-old is accused of conduct amounting to harassment by going to her address uninvited and causing her alarm and distress.

He pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing held at the Huddersfield court and his trial will take place there on July 19.

Magistrates remanded Tyndall, a serving prisoner, in custody until then.
