Man City meet Spurs in all-English CL clash.

dpa Berlin Premier League leaders Manchester City face Tottenham Hotspur in an all-England duel in the quarter finals of the Champions League Friday. City rivals Manchester United are up against Spanish champions Barcelona. Last season's losing finalists Liverpool face Porto, while Ajax, who eliminated holders Real Madrid to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2002/03, are up against Juventus. Juventus director Pavel Nedved said: "I'm neither happy nor unhappy. Ajax eliminated Madrid so they are no joke. "I liked them a lot against Madrid so we will have to be very careful. We will have to face Ajax with great enthusiasm: I expect two beautiful games." Liverpool beat Porto 5-0 on aggregate in last season's round of 16, and the Portuguese side have lost their last five knockout ties against English teams. "It's Porto and we've played there already and we know how good we had to be last year," Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp said. "I could not be further away from thinking it's the best draw because it isn't - it is just the draw, it's the opponent we have to prepare for and that's all we will be thinking about from when we start preparing for the game. "The first thing you have to do is make sure everybody respects the opponent the right way - and we will do that 100 per cent. We will know about the quality of Porto and then we have to play the game." Barcelona will be favourites to beat Manchester United, who they defeated in the Champions League final in 2009 and 2011 when Lionel Messi scored in both games. City and Spurs will meanwhile be playing three times in 11 days, with the two also meeting in the Premier League on April 20. City beat Spurs 1-0 when they met at Wembley on October 29. "We are two incredible clubs, players and stadiums. They will be two fascinating games," Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said. Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris said: "Everything is possible if you believe and have the right mentality," "We have already proved last season against Real Madrid and Dortmund, this season against Inter or Barca away, that we are ready to compete. Then you need a little luck and team spirit." Manchester United were drawn away to Barcelona but as City and United will not be able to play at home on the same night or on consecutive nights, the tie was reversed and United will be at home for the first leg. In the semi-final pairings, also made in the draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, the winners of Tottenham/Manchester City play Ajax/Juventus, and Barcelona/Manchester United face Liverpool/Porto. The quarter-final first legs will be played on April 9 (Liverpool v Porto; Tottenham v Manchester City), and April 10 (Ajax v Juventus; Barcelona v Manchester United). The return legs are on April 16 (Juventus v Ajax; Manchester United v Barcelona) and 17 (Porto v Liverpool; Manchester City v Tottenham). The semi-finals first legs are on April 30 and May 1, with the return legs on May 7 and 8. The final will be played on June 1 at the Wanda Metropolitana, Madrid.
