Man's body is found on line.

A MAN has been found dead on railway lines in Cardiff.

British Transport Police were today continuing their investigation into the death of the man, believed to be in his 30s, who was discovered next to tracks near Leckwith station at 9.15pm last night.

Police were alerted to the body on the track by the driver of a Paddington to Swansea intercity train.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious and Cardiff Coroner's Office has been informed of the fatality.

Police have not named the man but confirmed earlier today that he was local to Cardiff.
