Malta : Eleven international trainees complete a two-week Operational Maritime Law course.

Eleven members from different Navies and Coast Guards from Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia and Morocco, successfully completed a two-week Operational Maritime Law course at the Armed Forces of Maltas Maritime Safety and Security Training Centre (MSSTC).

This course was a result of the collaboration between the Swiss Government and the Government of Malta in the field. The Swiss Government sponsors this course on a yearly basis while the Armed Forces of Malta offers its expertise and facilities to deliver a successful course which is of mutual benefit for all participating countries. The diverse backgrounds, stemming from different roles of duty conducted in each students respective areas of operations combined, resulted in an outstanding opportunity to share experiences and discuss in critical depth the legal matters covered in the course.

Certificates of participation were distributed by Colonel of Capabilities and Training, Colonel C. Attard AFM in the presence of the Ambassador of Switzerland and other high-ranking officials.
