Malik briefs Prime Minister on Karachi situation.

ISLAMABAD, August 19, 2011 (Frontier Star): Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at Prime Ministers House on Thursday evening and discussed with him the latest situation of Karachi in detail. According to the press release, the Prime Minister assured the Interior Minister for providing him additional operational logistics in Karachi. He also directed the Minister for Interior to move immediately to Karachi and talk to all the stake holders for the restoration of law and order in the metropolis. The Prime Minister directed the Chief Minister Sindh, Minister for interior and Home Minister Sindh to work in coordination to bring back peace in Karachi which is so critical for the economy of the country being an economic hub.
