Malik, Amin steer Rivo in quarters of Dr. Shah Trophy.
KARACHI -- Naveed Malik missed hundred by two runs and Umar Amin and Bismillah Khan smashed a superb half centuries as Rivo Mobile advanced in the last eight stage of Dollar East Dr. M.A.Shah Night Trophy when they whipped Sabir Gymkhana by 214 runs here at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here on Saturday night.
Malik banged half a dozen sixes and five boundaries in his 50-ball knock of 98. Umar Amin blasted four fours and as many sixes in his 68 and Bismillah finished unbeaten on 68 and knock was studded with four sixes and four strikes to the boundary.
Rivo scored 278 for two wickets-was the highest in the ongoing Ramzan events.
In reply Sabir Gymkhana crashed to 64 all out in the 14th over. Asif Khan top-scored with 11. Left-arm spinner Asif Ali took two wickets in five balls without conceding a run. Samiullah took two wickets for 11 runs.
