Maldives' President supports Morocco's autonomy initiative.
Maldives' President Mohamed Nasheed expressed, on Sunday in Male, his country's support to Morocco's initiative to grant autonomy to its southern provinces, the Sahara. <p>Speaking during a hearing granted to Morocco's new Ambassador to the Maldives, Nasheed expressed his readiness to back Morocco's autonomy initiative, which aims to find a lasting solution to the regional dispute.
He also called for the consolidation of bilateral relations, notably in the fields of tourism, exchanges, environment and renewable energies.
