Make your own wall art; WORD ART IS ALL THE RAGE, FROM QUOTES AND LYRICS TO SIMPLE MESSAGES, HERE'S HOW TO SAY IT WITH WORDS, BY TURNING A BLANK CANVAS INTO A MASTERPIECE BY CAROLINE COOK.
YOU WILL NEED: Blank canvas (try Dunelm Mill, Hobbycraft or artist shops) Sticky letters, from pounds 8 for a pack of 90 letters, www.minilabels.co.uk Ruler and pencil PlastiKote Super Spray paint, pounds 6.95 for 400ml, www.plastikote.com 1 Lay newspaper/dustsheet in a well-ventilated working area (preferably outside).
2 Using the ruler and pencil, mark spacing for words and place letters on to canvas.
3 Once you're happy with the positioning, stick letters in place. Next apply two to three coats of spray paint (we used Heather Violet). Allow 5-10 minutes between coats to dry.
4 The canvas will be touch dry in 30-50 minutes and thoroughly dry in 2-3 hours. Next carefully peel off the letters and your masterpiece is ready to hang.
