Make a difference with new trust; LETTERS.

I WOULD be delighted if you will join me today in helping to make a difference to the lives of over half a million British young people facing adversity through the launch of the British Inspiration Trust (BRIT); a visionary charity focused on using inspiration to help young people facing adversity regain their self-belief to make aspiring choices.

The charity will champion and engage with 600,000 young people who are facing adversity.

I am going to do this by partnering with charities, support groups and those currently working to assist young people facing adversity and support them by providing an interactive BRIT support map that makes support easy for young people to find. With guidance and direction from a visionary steering group of young people facing adversity and engagement with young people across the country, I will ask inspirational figures to join BRIT as BRIT Mentors.

BRIT defines "young people facing adversity" as those young people between 16-25 with a physical or mental disability, deprivation, injury, our wounded and young carers.

It is my aspiration to find financial support from philanthropists and high net worth individuals who together will build a pounds 15million national centre of inspirational excellence for young people facing adversity who will meet inspirational figures to provide that spark.

I would be grateful for your readers to identify inspiring individuals from your own community and those young people facing adversity who could continue to help us steer and shape our mission and to support BRIT.

For more information, I urge your readers to go to: www.facebook.com/BRITinspiration, www.britishinspirationtrust.org.uk With your readers' support, I look forward to the British Inspiration Trust helping to inspire young people to overcome life's challenges during their darkest hours.

With very best wishes, Phil Packer MBE - Founder & Non-paid Chief Executive of the British Inspiration Trust
