Make a Spud

This is your chance to play with your
food! Make your own Spud Potato, get
your fill of carbs when you eat him, and
then turn to page 22 to vote for him in
the Fruit and Veggie Election.

What You Need:

1 large baking potato
Steamed veggies:
  2 stalks of broccoli
  2 peas
  1 baby carrot
  2 green beans
Low-fat sour cream
Toothpicks

[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED]

1. Place the potato on a plate. Let the potato and veggies
cool a bit before building your Spud.

2. Use the broccoli pieces for arms. Attach one piece to
each side of the potato with a toothpick.

3. Use toothpicks to attach the peas (Spud's eyes), the
carrot (Spud's nose), and the green beans (Spud's legs).

4. Now you have a Spud Potato! You can take him apart
(remove all toothpicks), cut the potato open and put the
veggies and sour cream inside. Eat and enjoy!
