Medical works of Moses Maimonides

The first volume of the set contains only the Arabic text and English translation of the treatise by Cairo-based Jewish philosopher Maimonides (1135-1204). This second volume offers critical editions of all three surviving Hebrew translations and two medieval Latin translations, all from the 13th or 14th century. Among the paraphernalia are indexes to each translation, glossaries of technical terms and materia medica, indexes to the glossaries, and addenda and corrigenda to the first volume. Distributed in the US by the University of Chicago Press.
