Worldwide Computer Products News-17 August 2005-MailFrontier releases next generation of MailFrontier Gateway Appliance(C)1995-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.comMailFrontier, a provider of e-mail security solutions, announced on Tuesday (16 August) the next generation of its MailFrontier Gateway Appliance.
According to the company MailFrontier Gateway Appliance, based on the IBM xSeries platform, is now available on hardened versions of Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows. The solution reportedly offers the ability to combine deployments for customers with multi-platform environments. MailFrontier Gateway protects companies against such e-mail threats as spam, phishing and viruses, provides control for content compliance, and enables consolidation of e-mail infrastructure, the company claims.
MailFrontier Gateway Appliance on Windows is currently available and MailFrontier Gateway Appliance on Linux will be available later in August. No pricing details were disclosed.
