The Arab Maghreb Political parties and Organizations held their third conference in Tripoli on Tuesday.

Delegates from political parties and organizations from Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania and the Libyan Revolutionary Committees Movement took part in the meeting that last for two days.

The opening session was attended among others by the Secretary of the General People's Congress, Secretary of the Maghreb General Union, the head of the Union's Shura Council, the speaker of the Moroccan parliament and coordinator of the General Movement of the Revolutionary Committees.

The conference discussed the report by the Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union and another by the Chairman of the Union's Shura Council on the union's recent activities, the Libyan news agency reported on Tuesday.

The conference discussed papers forwarded by the Revolutionary Committees and political parties from the Maghreb Union.
