Maggie Barry's column: Living Dahl.

Byline: Maggie Barry

THE number of women staying at home to look after the kids has plummeted to 10 per cent apparently.

At the same time we learn sex doesn't sell to women - snaps of semi-naked Sophie Dahl actually puts them off buying the product.

This does not surprise me one bit.

Why would any woman who spends her day working and then goes home to her second job be at all impressed by a languorous, pouting model in a dodgy pose in a changing room?

These ads are thought up by men with nothing better to do than titillate themselves.

Get real guys and try and find images that reflect the women we truly are.
