Madrid bomb suspect held.

A MAN accused of involvement in the Madrid bombings which killed 191 people was remanded in custody today.

Moutaz Almallah Dabas, 39, appeared at Bow Street magistrates in London after being arrested on Saturday in Slough, Berkshire, on a European extradition warrant issued by the Spanish authorities. He spoke only to give his name and date of birth.

Dabas, who has Spanish nationality, was held 24 hours after his brother Mohannad Almallah Dabas, a S y r i a n national, was arrested in Madrid.
