Macromedia unveils new user interface.
Macromedia has introduced a standard interface - called the Macromedia User Interface - that will be consistent across all of the company's future web authoring products.
With the new interface Macromedia hopes to make the authoring process more intuitive and approachable to developers and designers using its products, enabling common features in the applications to be accessed from the launcher bar. Menu structures, colour selection, tool layouts and groupings will also be consistent across all of Macromedia's products.
The Macromedia User Interface will first be included in the newly launched Macromedia Flash 5 product.
