Mack-Cali hosts 'Broker Hall of Fame' awards breakfast.
The New York/Connecticut office of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation was host to over 150 of the New York area's leading real estate brokers at its twelfth annual Broker Hall of Fame Awards Breakfast held at the Westchester County Club in Rye, New York. The event gave Mack-Cali the opportunity to honor the commercial brokerage community in New York and Connecticut and to recognize those individuals and firms whose efforts helped the company to complete over 1.8 million square feet of lease transactions in its New York and Connecticut regional portfolio during 1999.Michael Grossman, senior vice president, spoke on the year's highlights and outlined the company's plans and broker opportunities for 2000. Members of the Leasing department staff presented awards for accomplishments during the year as well as raffle prizes.
Among the award recipients were John Hannigan of Choyce Peterson, Inc., for "Most Transactions by an Individual Broker"; Benson Commercial Realty, Inc. for "Most Transactions by a Firm"; Michael Siegel and Steven Greenbush of Insignia/ESG, Inc., for "Largest Lease of Office Space" (William Carter Company lease at 1000 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, Conn.); Joe DiScala of Alliance Partners, Inc., for "Largest Lease of Flex Space" (for the Fuji Medical Systems lease at 419 West Avenue in Stamford, Conn.); Michael Siegel of Insignia/ESG, Inc., for "Broker of the Year"; Robert Tunis of Williams Real Estate and John Hannigan of Choyce Peterson, Inc., for "Largest Build-to-Suit Transaction" (the Clarence House lease at 600 West Avenue on Stamford, Conn.); and Maureen O'Boyle of Cushman & Wakefield of CT, Inc., with the "Millennium Award" for the Telesector Resources Group lease at Two Blue Hill Plaza in Pearl River, New York.
