Machinery JV agreement signed.

Converting Concepts, Ringwood, NJ, and Roto-Therm, Redding, CA, have signed an exclusive agreement to manufacture and supply state-of-the-art machinery for environmentally friendly and hazard free coating and laminating processes. Together the companies have designed a double sided rotogravure hot melt coater/laminator for the in-line tri-lamination of textiles, automotive interiors and heat sensitive materials.

The new equipment replaces traditional flame bonding, a process known for its hazardous emissions. Other machinery being designed and manufactured includes single or double sided die hot melt coating for pressure sensitive applications and the thermal bonding of various web substrates.
