Macdonald adds touch of glamour to bags for life.
Merthyr Tydfil-born Macdonald designed the hot pink tote as part of an Asda collaboration with breast cancer campaign, Tickled Pink.
He told the Western Mail: "Animal print and bright colour are two huge trends for autumn/winter and I've combined the two - I'm bringing glamour to the supermarket shopping aisles. Bags for life don't have to be boring.
"It will be a collectors' item, so hang on to it.
"I love the colour, we need bright colour to cheer us up at this time of the year."
An 80p donation from each pounds 2.50 bag sale will go to charities Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care.
Macdonald, who is patron of the Cardiff and Vale Breast Centre at Llandough Hospital in South Wales, said: "I'm a huge supporter of breast cancer charities.
"Anything that can help save women from the disease directly is so important." The bag will be launched today at Asda's new revamped Coryton store in Cardiff, which is extending its clothing range.
It will be available until the end of October.
