MY KIDNAP HELL; Oil rig worker tells how he survived Nigerian nightmare.

Byline: JAMES MOORE

HELD at gunpoint in a Nigerian jungle, kidnapped oil worker Patrick Weber thought he would never see his family again.

The grandfather was terrified he was going to be executed by militants, who captured him after storming the rig he was working on.

Two of his colleagues suffered gunshot wounds during the ordeal, which only came to an end following negotiations by the US and French governments.

Now the 57-year-old has told how for nine days, he and six other men were forced to survive on one bowl of noodles a day and constantly feared they were going to be killed.
