MY BIG HOPE; Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp, owner of Arry's Orse (4.05).
Byline: Harry RedknappI MET Bryan Smart a few years ago. He's a really nice guy and he kept on at me to have a horse with him. He rang me up when he went to the Doncaster BreezeUp sale and said there were two he liked. The first went for a lot of money to Richard Hannon and he bought the second one for me.
To be honest, I'm not an expert on breeding and I don't know too much about the horse, but I'm a punter and love a bet. I read the Racing Post every day and I go with what the tipsters give. I follow Pricewise and all the other lads.
I was desperate to see him run, but I can't make it because we train in the morning and it is a busy day. I have got the press to talk to, so I will have to watch the race on TV.
I was going to name the horse Right Or Wrong because that was an expression of my father's, who I lost a couple of years ago, but Bryan told me that his kids had kept asking, 'Can we go and see 'Arry's horse?' and said that would be a good name.
I said, 'I don't mind what you call him as long as he can bloody run', and Brian thinks he could be a nice horse.
