MWMC initiates steps for improvement of cleanliness.

MULTAN: The Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has initiated steps on war footing to improve cleanliness condition in the city.

Chief Executive Officer MWMC Ameer Hussain Qureshi paid surprise visit to various areas to review cleanliness arrangements here on Saturday.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) checked the cleanliness operation and attendance of the sanitary staff. He also visited landfill site and dumping area for waste.

Speaking on this occasion, Ameer Hussain said time has come to take practical steps for the improvement of the cleanliness system.

He said new staff would be recruited by suspending ghost and absent staff, adding that strict action would be taken over corruption in administrative and financial affairs of the company.

He said that extra staff and containers would be placed in congested areas of the city.
