MUNSINGWEAR, INC., NAMES NEW DIRECTORS
MUNSINGWEAR, INC., NAMES NEW DIRECTORS MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Munsingwear, Inc. (NYSE: MUN)
announced that on Oct. 29 its Plan of Reorganization became effective and, as part of that Plan of Reorganization, three new directors selected by the company's Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors had joined the company's board of directors.
The three new directors are: C. Derek Anderson, president of Anderson Capital Management, Inc., a San Francisco-based investment advisory firm. Mr. Anderson is also a trustee/director of the G.T. Global group of mutual funds and a director of the Pacific Research Institute. Donald M. Nicholson is vice president in charge of the Minneapolis office of Peterson Consulting Limited Partnership. Nicholson, former COO of K-Tel International, Inc. and former CEO of Minstar, Inc., is also a director of CPT Holdings, Inc. Michael Raskin, a San Francisco-based apparel executive with over 35 years experience including former chairman/CEO of ACA JOE Int'l., former president/COO of Joseph Magnin, and former COO of Dayton Co., is a director of several companies involved in marketing, retail and wholesale sales. In commenting on the expanded board of Munsingwear, Inc., Charles J.
