MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS: A GUIDE FOR FAMILIES.
MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS: A GUIDE FOR FAMILIES Edited by Rosalind C. Kalb, PhDDr. Kalb's premise is that families can learn to live with the impact of multiple sclerosis without significantly draining other vital aspects of family life. The contributing authors are well-known specialists who address emotional and cognitive issues, family relationships, sexuality, pregnancy and childbirth, parenting, caregiving, and financial concerns.
The book is exceptionally readerfriendly and is a good resource for professionals as well as lay readers. Research studies are well cited without too much professional jargon. Each chapter provides excellent additional readings, and there is an appendix of recommended resources. I highly recommend this invaluable guide.
