 MULTIBANK PROMOTES ROYAL B. DUNHAM, JR. TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
 DEDHAM, Mass., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Multibank Financial Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: MLTF) announced today that Royal B. Dunham, Jr. has been promoted to senior vice president and director of loan review. In his capacity, Dunham, who joined Multibank in January 1991, will continue to head up Multibank's centralized loan review function. Dunham also serves as a member of the company's Credit Policy and Credit Administration Review Committee and the Senior Credit Committee.
 Prior to joining Multibank, Dunham was a career official with the office of the comptroller of the currency. He began as a national bank examiner in New York in 1966 and held several positions of increasing responsibility in the Washington, D.C., office before coming to Boston as deputy regional administrator in 1980. He served as director of the comptroller's Boston field office from 1984 to 1990.
 Dunham holds an M.B.A. degree from St. John's University and a B.A. degree from Morehouse College. He also completed the John F. Kennedy School of Government Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University. Dunham and his family reside in Brookline, Mass.
