MULTI-COLOR CORPORATION REPORTS FLASH FLOOD AT INDIANA PLANT
CINCINNATI, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-Color Corporation (NASDAQ: LABL) today reported that on Aug. 8 its Scottsburg, Ind. plant experienced a flash flood resulting from torrential rains in the southern Indiana area. Due to the severity of the flooding the Scottsburg facility is currently unable to produce or ship any product.
Clean-up efforts are just beginning and the company is unable to predict with any certainty exactly when the Scottsburg plant will be back on line. Multi-Color is preparing to handle the business normally run in Scottsburg at its Cincinnati and Lockport facilities.
At this point it is not possible to determine if the shut-down of the facility will have a material effect on the company's results. However, Multi-Color believes it has sufficient property and business interruption insurance to cover the damage to the facility and its inventory.
