MTNA partners with music organizations to offer copyright resources.

MTNA is partnering with MENC: The National Association for Music Education, the Music Publishers' Association of the United States, the National Association of Schools of Music and the National Music Publishers' Association to provide an online resource for copyright questions. This website, "The United States Copyright Law, A Guide for Music Educators," offers information about the reproduction, recording, distribution and performance of music and the guidelines that govern these actions. In addition, forms to arrange music and obtain rights to reprint music are available to download. Contacts for questions not answered in the materials also are provided. To find out answers to your copyright questions, log on to www.menc.org/information/ copyright/copyr.html.
