MRB Group opens Geneva office.

Byline: Kevin Oklobzija

Former Geneva city manager Matt Horn again has an office in the heart of the community, only this time the sign on the door says MRB Group.

Horn, municipal services director for the Rochester-based engineering, architecture and surveying firm, will operate the Geneva office at 44 Castle St.

Horn oversees the SmarterLocalGov division at MRB. He joined the firm in January.

"Together we help communities address challenges, compete more effectively for limited grants and financial support, and create strategic plans that generate local investment," Horn said in a news release. "These services strengthen local governments and help them meet the challenge of planning more effectively for the growth they want to achieve."

MRB serves as the engineer of record for the City of Geneva and Town of Geneva, and is supporting projects across the Finger Lakes area in Waterloo, Penn Yan, Lyons, Manchester, Hopewell and Canandaigua. 653-4020
