MR. T WILL VISIT NEW YORK COMIC BOOK STORES DURING PROMOTIONAL TOUR

NEW YORK, July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- NOW Entertainment's latest comic book, "Mr. T and the T-Force," the action-packed pro-social comic featuring the real live super hero Mr. T, written and drawn by comic book genius Neal Adams, hit the stores and newsstands Thursday, June 17. It costs $1.95 plus tax. "Mr. T and the T-Force" was unveiled at the New York Licensing Show June 15, and on Saturday, July 10, Mr. T will return to New York to meet fans and sign autographs at Jim Hanley's Universe. The times and addresses are as follows:
 Noon - 2 p.m. 350 Dorp Lane, Staten Island
 3 - 6 p.m. 126 W. 32nd St., between Sixth and Seventh Avenues
Home Shopping Network celebrated the debut of "Mr. T and the T-Force," the genesis of a genre of comic books which features the first real live super hero, by offering a limited amount of signed and numbered embossed collector editions of the first issue, and also including a 22-carat gold-leafed trading card, a reading copy of the comic book and a certificate of authenticity, specially packaged, for $110.00.
The promotional tour officially began in Chicago, Mr. T's home town, and continued to Dayton; Los Angeles; Garden Grove, Calif.; Detroit; Charlotte; Indianapolis; and Philadelphia. Hundreds of people in each city have stood in line for hours to meet Mr. T and get his autograph on their first copy of the first edition of "Mr. T and the T-Force," already recognized as a collector's item. The tour continues to Norwalk, Conn.; Lincoln, Neb.; Dallas; Las Vegas; Northern California; Washington, D.C.; Honolulu; Germany; and Japan.
The initial orders for "Mr. T and the T-Force" signaled the industry's enthusiasm and support, and reorders began before the comic book was even out. Sales have made "Mr. T and the T-Force" the hottest selling comic book since the death of Superman. Mr. T's universal appeal has drawn new customers to the comic book stores, and is expected to boost the multimillion-dollar pop culture to greater heights.
