MPP toroids with low core losses.

Molypermalloy Powder MPP) toroidal cores from Chang Sung Corp. have a distributed air gap made from a 79 percent nickel, 17 percent iron and 4 percent molybdenum alloy powder and are said to have the lowest core losses of any powder core material. The cores offer high resistivity, low hysteresis and eddy current losses, desirable inductance stability after high DC magnetization or under high DC bias conditions and minimal inductance shift up to 2,000 gausses under AC conditions. They are offered in sizes from OD 3.50 mm to 78.90 mm in MPP material, and also a range of initial permabilities starting from 26 [micro]I, 60 [micro]I, 75 [micro]I, 90 [micro]I, 125 [micro]I, 147 [micro]I, 160 [micro]I, 173 [micro]I and 200 [micro]I.
