MP demands Ashworth death inquiry.

A LIVERPOOL MP today demanded an inquiry into the death of a kitchen worker at a Merseyside top security hospital.

Keith John Billington was found electrocuted in his flat at Ashworth Hospital, in Maghull.

He was discovered by firefighters last Sunday.

Mr Billington, 41, was identified two days later by his dental records.

Hospital bosses today said they had no plans to hold an inquiry into Mr Billington's death. Bootle MP Joe Benton said: ``I am frankly amazed that the hospital authorities did not see fit to make at least some investigation into the circumstances of this man's death.''
