MOURINHO'S DOOMED ROM-ANCE.

Byline: Dave Kidd

ROBERTO DI MATTEO always said "we never talk about The Boss". Carlo Ancelotti rarely talked about The Boss. Rafa Benitez started off talking about The Boss, then soon stopped.

When it comes to talking about Roman Abramovich, Chelsea managers tend to be like the blaspheming peasant in the Life of Brian, sentenced to be stoned to death for uttering the b st n d or ing word 'Jehovah'. Yet Jose Mourinho talks about Abramovich all the time, giving us a welcome insight into this mysterious God-like figure. It's almost as if the Special One, in his second honeymoon period, feels as if he and Abramovich are genuine buddies.

Just a hunch, but Mourinho (left) might be talking about Abramovich a little less, before long.
