MOTOROLA CELEBRATES 20 YEARS IN PLANTATION PLANTATION, Fla., Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Motorola, Inc., Radio
Products Group today commemorated 20 years of operation in the city of Plantation with a re-dedication of the facility's newly remodeled employee dining area. The company, whose South Florida operations began in 1969 in the city of Oakland Park, opened its Plantation facility in 1971.

Motorola designs and manufactures two-way mobile and portable radio communications equipment at the 625,000-square-foot facility, which is located at 8000 West Sunrise Blvd. in Plantation, Fla.
