 MOTORISTS ADVISED TO UTILIZE TURNPIKE TRAVEL FOR FLORIDA KEYS;
 KEYS ELECTRICAL POWER RETURNS TO NORMAL LEVELS
 KEY LARGO, Fla. Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Motorists traveling to and from the Florida Keys are advised to use the turnpike through areas of South Dade County instead of US1 according to Florida highway patrol officials.
 "The primary route of travel to the Keys should be made by the Florida turnpike," said Major Jane Gracie of the Florida Highway Patrol. "This route is accessible 24 hours a day and will pose fewer problems than US1 through the area."
 Gracie said that if Key-bound motorists were inadvertently traveling though US1 during the curfew -- 9:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. -- check point personnel would re-route them to the Florida turnpike.
 Meanwhile, utilities report full restoration for the Keys as the repairmen restore high voltage power on car-crowded roads. "We're back to normal and have the ability to function," reports Charles Russell, general manager of the Florida Keys Electrical Corporation. "We have discontinued all requests for energy conservation. With the exception of the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, all other areas emerge virtually unscathed by Hurricane Andrew."
