MOTOR RACING: SCHU JUST CAN'T FAIL.

PRESSURE from the Italian public will ensure Ferrari and Michael Schumacher deliver the Formula One driver's title this season.

That is the firm belief of Jody Scheckter, the last man to win the Championship in the beloved red car, 21 years ago.

Schumacher lines up at the Brazilian Grand Prix today heading the table after his victory in Australia and Scheckter predicts he will stay there.

The South African said: "I think Schumacher will do it this year. He's certainly confident he will and with the Italian people behind Ferrari's effort they won't be allowed to fail.

"Ferrari will have to give the people what they want and if that means throwing everything at it then that's what they'll do.

"Heads will roll if they don't do it this time. Nothing will be left to chance and I'm sure they'll keep developing."
