MOSAIC MEETS DEADLINE

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Mosaic Multisoft Corp. (MMSF) (OTC Bulletin Board) is pleased to announce the completion of the development of its Communicating Atomic Tasks (CATs(TM)) technology demonstrator software. This demo software package provides a single processor simulation of the multiprocessor functionality of the CATs technology. It allows programmers to develop multiprocessor software based on the CATCALLs(TM) extensions to the C/C++ programming language and to execute that software on a single processor PC or Workstation.
This package successfully demonstrates the critical element in Mosaic's technology: the CATs Task Manager. This task manager forms the heart of Mosaic's general-purpose parallel/multiprocessing programming environment. Mosaic believes this is the first-ever demonstration of parallel processing software which provides a true general-purpose (portable/scalable) approach with the ease of sequential-like programming and with the potential of significantly improved performance. Mosaic also believes its general-purpose parallel programming environment effectively reverses the drawbacks associated with today's programmer-intensive software mapping approaches to multiprocessing.
A public demonstration of the CATs capabilities was conducted on Thursday, Aug. 26 at Mosaic's San Diego headquarters for Mosaic employees, outside consultants and visiting observers. The demonstration participants were briefed on the CATs programming approach and multiprocessing applications test software was executed using the demo software package. Mosaic is initiating an immediate focused marketing effort to the major computer vendors and software houses using this CATs technology demonstration package, with the initial presentations scheduled for next month.
