MORTON INTERNATIONAL ELECTS DIRECTORS

 CHICAGO, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareholders of Morton International (NYSE: MII) at the company's annual meeting today reelected as directors Dennis C. Fill, Charles A. Sanders, George A. Schaefer and Raymond C. Tower. Continuing directors whose terms did not expire at this year's meeting are: Ralph M. Barford, William T. Creson, Charles S. Locke, Frank W. Luerssen, S. Jay Stewart and Roger W. Stone.
 The shareholders also ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young as the company's independent auditors for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1994.
 More than 85 percent of the company's shareholders were represented either in person or by proxy at the meeting.
 Morton International is a Chicago-based manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, automotive inflatable restraint systems and salt.
