 MORRISON KNUDSEN TO STREAMLINE DOE OPERATIONS;
 SERGI KAMINSKY NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT
 BOISE, Idaho, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Morrison Knudsen Corp. (MK) (NYSE: MRN) announced today that Sergi Kaminsky, a veteran of more than 25 years in the power and industrial markets, has been named executive vice-president of MK's Government Facilities Division.
 Formerly vice-president of Department of Energy operations for MK, Kaminsky will be responsible for the company's Cleveland-based DOE construction and engineering contracts and will report directly to Gunnar E. Sarsten, MK president and chief operating officer.
 Sarsten also announced that he will move his executive office to Cleveland, a move designed to further consolidate DOE contracts and other Cleveland-based operations.
 "This reorganization reduces the levels between DOE project sites and senior management," Sarsten said. He added that "Sergi is an acknowledged leader in DOE programs and currently has management overview of DOE contracts valued at more than $2 billion."
 Kaminsky joined MK in 1969 and has been involved in DOE projects since 1972. Most recently he has had overall responsibility for four projects and more than 2,000 construction personnel. These projects include the $500-million Weldon Spring Superfund Site cleanup in Missouri; the nationwide $515-million Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) Project; construction services at the Savannah River Plant in Georgia valued at over $450 million; and a $500-million construction-management contract at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory.
 Morrison Knudsen Corp. is an international company serving the environmental, industrial process, power and transportation markets with complete development, design/engineering, construction, operating and financial services.
