MORRISON KNUDSEN AND JOINT VENTURE PARTNER WIN $24-MILLION CONTRACT
 TO REBUILD AIR BASE IN KUWAIT
 BOISE, Idaho, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Morrison Knudsen Corp. (MK) (NYSE: MRN) announced today that MK and a joint-venture partner have received notice of award of an approximately $24-million contract to rebuild a war-damaged air base in Kuwait.
 The notice was received by MK (sponsor) and Mohamed Abdulmohsin Kharafi, a Kuwaiti firm, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The work will take place as phase I, emergency restoration at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base.
 Included in the project will be repair of buildings, utilities and runways. The work will start immediately and is scheduled to take seven months to complete.
