 MORGAN STANLEY GROUP ADDS TWO NEW MEMBERS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 NEW YORK, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan Stanley Group Inc. (NYSE: MS) today announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors.
 The new members are Allen E. Murray, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Mobil Corporation, and Robert W. Matschullat, a managing director of Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and head of the firm's investment banking division. With these additions, the firm's board will be expanded to 11 members.
 Murray has been Mobil's president and chief operating officer since 1984. He was named chairman and chief executive officer in 1986. He also serves on the board of directors of Martin Marietta Corporation, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. Murray's election as director of Morgan Stanley Group Inc. is effective as of Nov. 1, 1992.
 Matschullat joined Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated in 1972 and was with the firm until 1976. He rejoined Morgan Stanley in 1986 as managing director in charge of the firm's West Coast investment banking business. In January 1992 Matschullat was appointed head of the investment banking division. The investment banking division encompasses Morgan Stanley's worldwide activity in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital markets and real estate, with a staff of more than 1,000 working in New York and 11 other locations. Matschullat's board appointment is effective as of July 30, 1992.
