MOORS KILLER BRADY'S SICK RANT AT NATS.
MOORS murderer Ian Brady may have scuppered his bid to move to a Scottish jail - after launching a crazed rant at the SNP over the Lockerbie bomber release.
In a rambling letter, serial killer Brady, 71, labelled justice minister Kenny MacAskill "retarded" and a "nonentity".
And Glasgow-born Brady, who is held at high-security Ashworth Hospital on Merseyside, claimed the decision to free Libyan Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was "driven by oil".
He said: "I've never before heard the Libyan oil fields described as compassionate grounds."
He also insisted the release of seriously-ill Great Train robber Ronnie Biggs only came about because "even the thick UK public would draw the comparison between retaining Biggs while releasing the Lockerbie bomber."
Brady, who has been behind bars for 44 years, wants a move to Scotland in the hope that he will be allowed to die.
He has been on hunger strike for 10 years and is kept alive by being force-fed through a nasal tube.
And Brady claimed the forcefeeding regime was to "prevent my own involuntary release in a coffin."
His lawyer, Giovani di Stefano, confirmed that the compassionate release of Megrahi had inspired the transfer request.
But ministers have vowed he will not be allowed to move.
