 MOOG OFFICER TAKES EARLY RETIREMENT
 EAST AURORA, N.Y., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Moog Inc. today announced


that Jerald D. Bidlack, vice chairman, executive vice president and president of the International Group has decided to take early retirement in order to pursue personal business interests.
 Bidlack joined Moog in 1963 as engineering manager of the company's Industrial Division. He moved to Germany in 1967 to head up Moog GmbH near Stuttgart and was elected vice president - International in 1969. He returned to the United States in 1973 and was elected a director of Moog Inc. in 1981. He was instrumental in the formation and development of most of Moog's foreign subsidiaries.
 Bidlack indicated he will not be standing for re-election to the board of directors at the annual shareholders meeting, Feb. 14, 1992, but will be available to the company on a part-time consulting basis.
