MONROE COUNTY ISSUES REFUNDING BONDS FOR DETROIT EDISON DETROIT, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit Edison (NYSE: DTE) today
announced that the Monroe County (Michigan) Economic Development Corporation will issue $65 million in tax-exempt bonds to enable the utility to refund a previous bond issue. On June 1, 1992, the utility will use the bond proceeds to refund all outstanding bonds of the Monroe County Pollution Control Revenue Bonds Series A 1982.
The First National Bank of Chicago is serving as placement agent for the refunding bond issue.
