 MONROE COUNTY CLOSES ON REFUNDING BONDS AT 6.95 PERCENT
 FOR DETROIT EDISON
 DETROIT, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Monroe County (Mich.) Economic Development Corporation today issued $66 million of its Series 1992-AA Revenue Bonds for Detroit Edison (NYSE: DTE). The bonds, which mature Sept. 1, 2022, will carry a 6.95-percent interest rate. The First National Bank of Chicago acted as placement agent.
 On June 1, 1992, the utility will use the bond proceeds to refund the Monroe County Series A-1982 Pollution Control Revenue Bonds at 103 percent of the principal amount.
