MONMOUTH REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT CORPORATION REPORTS NINE-MONTH EARNINGS

    EATONTOWN, N.J., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: MNRTA) reported net income of $981,000, or $.39 a share, for the nine months ended June 30, 1993, as compared to $914,000, or $.40 a share, for the nine months ended June 30, 1992.
    A summary of significant financial information for the three months and nine months ended June 30, 1993 and 1992 is as follows:
