Neal Jordan will appear on "Inside Money," National Public Television's weekly money program hosted by Rick DuPuis on Sept. 26. DuPuis, host of "Inside Money," said that "Each week we feature one of the country's top money managers and Jordan's track record and investment philosophy are a powerful combination. We wanted to share his insights on just how it is possible to outperform the market on a consistent long-term basis with our viewers." After having spent several years with two major brokerage houses on Wall Street during the '60s, Jordan determined in 1972 that he could offer an alternative to Wall Street money managers in terms of both performance and philosophy. His managed account performance has been ranked in the top fifth percentile for the last four consecutive years. According to a recently completed independent audit, Jordan had an average gain of 37 percent during the 1984-1991 period. His performance was up 110 percent in 1991. Late last year, Jordan decided to undertake the expansion of EAM's distribution and services. Jordan said, "After 20 years of serving nearly 1,000 clients successfully and profitably, it was a logical extension to offer quality money management services to a nationwide market struggling with an awkward set of investment alternatives."
